Today the NASCAR Sprint Cup series was scheduled to have two practice sessions, as the NASCAR Sprint cup garage prepares for the Daytona 500. However the NASCAR Sprint Cup series drivers were only able to run 46 of the schedule 80 minutes of practice due to rain. The rain also resulted in the 2nd practice session being canceled.
