Comments before Qualifying Run

And one of the benefits of being a rookie for Joey Logano here at Chicago is the fact that you had the tire test a couple of months ago, how much has that helped you so far this weekend?

Joey Logano: I thought it was going to help me alot and first run out in practice, man this thing don’t drive anything like it did at the test but, it’s so much warmer now then it what it was then, we adjusted on it a little bit in race trim, got it decent, i felt like, we still need a little bit more, and then we put it in qualifying trim, you don’t have much time in these practices to get it all right so, I felt like we got the Home Depot Toyota you know driving pretty good, just need a little bit more speed so, it’s going to be different, it’s night time, so we’ll have to see, just go as fast as you can as always.

That was a great race, and an 18th place finish is not bad at all, especialy for his first time in a sprint cup car at Chicagoland.
