A total of two practice sessions were scheduled today for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the Michigan International Speedway. Teams prepared their cars for tomorrow’s qualifying session and Sunday’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400.

During final practice something broke in the engine of the number 20 Home Depot Toyota. The team worked on replacing the engine during the session. Near the end of the final practice session Joey was able to turn a few laps in the number 11 machine. The engine change will force Logano to go the rear of the field on Sunday’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400. Results from today’s session, along with photos and a video interview from practice are posted below.
