Joey Logano Jeff Byrd 500 Results
The streak of bad luck at Bristol Motor Speedway as well as the 2011 season continues for Joey Logano. Logano started the day from the 18th position, early on Logano fought loose conditions. Logano also reported to the team that he felt the motor was down on power. The Home Depot Crew continued to adjust on the car all day, and Logano was running in the top 10 with 50 laps to go in the Jeff Byrd 500. Unfortunately with around 20 laps to go in the race the right front tire let go on the number 20 machine, and Logano had to make a green flag pit stop. As the checkered flag flew, Logano was scored in the 23rd position, three laps down.
Logano currently sits in the 30th position in the standings heading into the Auto Club Speedway. Logano and the number 20 team will look to turn their luck around at the Auto Club Speedway. A track where Logano holds an average finish of 14th.
