Budweiser Shootout Qualifying Results
Starting positions for the Budweiser Shootout are set a little different from a normal race weekend. Drivers select their positions randomly during the Budweiser Shootout Selection Show. Since Logano is not yet 21 years old, Crew Chief Greg Zipadelli made the selection for Joey. Video of the segment can be seen below.

Budweiser Shootout Race Results
Logano was running strong and worked his way up into the top 10 early on in the Budwesier Shootout. Unfortunately for Logano he was caught up in an incident on the backstretch on lap 28. Logano was a victim of a multicar crash, that was started when the number 78 Regan Smith made contact with the number 99 of Carl Edwards. The crash also collected Kevin Conway, Dale Earnhardt Jr and Juan Pablo Montoya.
