Wendy Venturini: And we are here with Joey Logano … What kinds of changes does Zipadelli have to make to that car to make it a little bit more comfortable for you?

Joey Logano: Well I just don’t think any of these cars drive good, I think it’s just the nature of the COT car at Daytona but, we keep working on it, we get from one end of the boat to the other, you know, we get tight, then we get really loose, so just trying to find a happy medium with the Home Depot Toyota, and we made some big chances and we’ll see what she can do.

Post Race Comments

“I learned a whole-whole bunch, I think that was everything we needed to accomplish with the home depot Toyota today, you know, I needed to get out there, finish the race, gain some respect, run with these guys, and I feel like we were able to do that, so I just had a really good run there at the end, I just went to the top, and said I am staying here no matter what happens, It got me all the way to the front, and then I just made a last ditch effort at the end, and I said, you know what if I am up here I am going to try to win the thing, what the heck, and just no one went with me, but that’s part of it. But Zippy and the whole team did a great job. I had a lot of fun today.”

Question: Are you are more relived now as we set our sights to the Daytona 500, now that you’ve got this one underneath your hat so to speak?

Joey Logano: “Yeah I went threw a massive mood swing, from 10 to go till the end of the race, I promise you that, I was not a happy camper in there with 10 to go, and then we got it going and got it up there, I feel like we learned alot and even within those last 10 laps, and threw the whole race, just learning how to drive these things, and the draft and all of that stuff, so overall a good day.”
