Brickyard 400 Weekend Preview

The NASCAR Sprint cup series took last weekend off from racing, but this weekend they are back to racing, with the racing action taking place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Logano has only one start at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In last year’s Allstate 400 at the Brickyard he qualified in the 18th position but had to relinquish his starting position due to an engine change. As a result, Joey Logano started from the back of the field, and worked his way threw the field, and at the end of it all finished in 12th.

There are only 7 races until the Chase begins, and Logano currently is in the 19th position in the driver points standings. Joey has a total of 2103 points, while 12th place Clint Bowyer has 2286 points, a difference of 183 points between them. Logano still has a chance to make the chase, but he will need to put together a string of very good runs for the next seven races.
