This weekend Joey Logano is once again driving only in the Sprint Cup series, as the nationwide series has a week off. It should also be noted that this is a hometown race for Home Depot, as Home depot has it’s headquarters in Atlanta.

What Can Joey Logano expect this weekend as far as racing is concerned?
Today’s events are over, today Joey practiced the car, and then later qualified it. Tomorrow, he will be practicing in two practice sessions, and yes those will be aired on Speed TV. The first one will be at 11 a.m. Eastern time, while the Happy Hour session will be at 12:20 p.m. ET. The race off course will be on Sunday, March 8, 2009 which will air on FOX starting at 1:30 pm Eastern time.

Comments Before Qualifying

I think we’ve got a good home depot Toyota, you know it just took me a long time in practice here to get used to the track, these cars just slide around alot with these tires and the whole asphalt, it took me a while to get used to it, by the time I got used to it, we were behind the 8-ball working with the car. It’s kinda of like a home track for me, a secondary home track I guess, so, hopefully we get out there and have a good run.
