Although Joey Logano did not race his way in from the Sprint Showdown Race to the All Star Race, he did earn the last spot into the All Star race via the fan vote. Joey Logano was introduced by legendary wrestler Ric Flair, who is a 16 time World Heavyweight champion, held the belt eight times in the NWA, six Times in the WCW, and two Times in the WWE.

Joey Logano proved two things on Saturday night. 1. With his career-best 8th-place finish in the Sprint All Star Race, he deserves to be a Sprint Cup All Star. 2. Even more important, Joey proved he’s got some of the best fans in all of motorsports. As a rookie, Joey’s fans came together, got on their computers and cell phones, and voted him into the All Star race following the Sprint Showdown. Thank you to everyone for all their hard work
