Jamie Little: Joey Logano caught up in that vicious wreck, has been released, first of all are you okay?
Joey Logano: Yeah I am fine, just really scared the heck out of me, that was pretty much the biggest thing it was, I was fine the whole time, it just… not 100% sure what happened, spotter was clearing me low, when I got down there they checked up getting into the corner, and looked like I got tagged from behind, not really sure I haven’t seen the replay yet, not sure I wanna a replay but, it started rolling and I was in there, and I was like dam please make this thing stop, and it wouldn’t and it just kept going and going but, I was fine it goes to show how safe these cars are, I was fine, I think we had a pretty good Home Depot Toyota, we took off good, you know we lost a few spots after the first pit stop but, yeah it was early in the race for that, and it just startled me.. I am fine that’s the big part.
Jamie Little: Joey you’ve done alot of racing in your young 19 years, how did that compare to anything that you’ve been threw?
Joey Logano: It was the wildest ride I ever been on, you can’t go on a roller coaster any worse than that, *chuckles*
Jamie Little: Is your body feeling okay as of now?
Joey Logano: Yeah I am just a little shaken that’s all. But I am fine, I am not even sore, which is really surprising after all that and I am just happy it landed on it’s wheels, when I was on my side, that’s when I was getting worried for a minute, but can came back down and thank god, the good lord was with me on that one.
I must be getting old, I have rolled 2 car’s myself and been in a lot of wrecks, but when you see someone you think a lot of , it scares the hell out of you, I know your mom & dad are shook, as are all of us that are proud of you. Funny thing if it had been a driver of 35 or 40 years old it would have been a bad wreck, but a young man like you. Keep living your dream, and we will keep praying for your safety, all of the driver’s safety! I’m one fan that does not like to see driver’s and car’s tore up.
