Joey Logano Interview After Happy Hour
Hermie Sadler: Well Joey Logano, you are wrapping up final practice for the race, only one start here but a top 20 finish here, can you improve on that tomorrow?
Joey Logano: I hope so man, were struggling right now, I don’t know what the deal is, just can’t get off 11, seems like when I get behind the fast guys, and just watch they do and see where they beat us, it seems like corner exit is where they get me so we focused the whole practice trying to get the thing off the corner and I don’t know… could be a long day for us with the Home Depot Toyota but, were gonna definitely have to do our homework, were gonna have our little team meeting here in little bit, and see what we can find.
Hermie Sadler: I was gonna ask you, you guys work well together as teammates at different kinds of racetracks, is this the kind of racetrack you can sit with your teammates that maybe have a little bit more experience and not just driving but what to tell the guys to do about the car at a place like Infineon.
Joey Logano: Yeah definitely, I mean Kyle and Denny both run good here, good on road courses in general so, definitely lean on those guys as much as you can and know watcha.. have the battle is knowing what you want and then your race car, when you come to a place like this it’s tough I mean forward drive is definitely the biggest deal here, but its a matter of getting a balance and still being able to turn somehow so, well get it I am sure we will, and you know well see.
