Interview Before Qualifying Run

Dick Berggren: I’m with Joey Logano, who also recently celebrated a birthday, and he is no longer a teenager and he has won more poles this year in the nationwide series, than any other drivers. Hermie Saddler has just pointed out that there have been tremendous changes to this racetrack since you guys practiced last, with the jet dryers, the rain the overnight and all the rest of it, So what’s it going to be like behind the wheel when you guys get going?

Joey Logano That’s a million dollar question right there. I don’t know, were going to find out, hammer down man, that’s what qualifying here its tough, it’s something similar we do in the cup side, you know because you practice in the day and went to night so the track was completely different so its basically just drive it in there as hard as you can and hope there’s grip and you know the good thing with these cars, you probably have two laps to make it happen, the cup car you get one shot at it, so well go at it hard and see what we have with the Sport Clips Toyota, I think it’s pretty good, we never made a mock run but in race trim, I felt like it was pretty good, so well see.
