Joey Logano Pre-Qualifying Comments

Dick Berggren: Joey Logano is definitely on a roll, three top 4 finishes in your last three starts, how about Richmond, how is the car here, how comfortable are you with this place?

Joey Logano: The car in practice was pretty good, you know we kinda of fought back and forth, you know every time you get good in the center, you’re too loose off, and it’s back and forth, it’s typical Richmond I think, so well see, we’ve got the Wii on the hood, a whole new paint scheme, so it looks pretty cool this weekend.

Dick Berggren: 18 Years old, let’s see what he does in qualifying.

Krista Voda: And I am down here with Joey Logano, so what did you think of your run, and how was, I know you’d said this track maybe owes you one, because you were suppose to already have a cup start here right?

Joey Logano: Yeah, I wish we did, but you know I think we are okay with the GameStop Toyota, we’ve got the Wii on board so it looks pretty cool, but we’ll see, I thought we were going to hold up for second there until Bliss got us here so, it doesn’t really matter where you start it’s going to be a long race, the track is going to change alot so we’ll see what we’ve got, I am sure Dave and the bunch will be working hard tonight, hopefully keep it up front.

Joey Logano Pre-Race Comments

Joey Logano: Richmond is just kind of a old school you know back to your roots racing, you kinda of move alot, like I said it’s a short track its fun, it makes all the cars more competitive.

Jamie Little: And Joey Logano has finished 4th or better in the last three weeks in a row, and that brings us to Richmond, you’ve actually run here before last year started on the pole in your first start, finished seventh, what are the chances you can better that tonight.

Joey Logano: I think we’ve got a really good car, I think well have to see, in qualifying we were a little bit free, I think that’s a good thing for tonight, so…. I don’t know I didn’t run here the best here last year so hopefully we’ll improve, we’ve got Dave back and well see if we can get this GameStop Toyota back in there.

Jamie Little: Yes you’re crew chief is here, and this is the same team that went to victory lane with Denny Hamlin and they think they can do it again.
