Joey Logano Debut Result at Dover
The race at Dover started a little bit later than expected. Because there was a rain delay, that postponed the start of the race to about 3 hours.
During the pre-race pace laps, Denny Hamlin talked over the radio to his team mate Joey Logano, giving him a few pointers.
Joey started the race from the ninth position and finished in the sixth position. A great finishing position, considering that the phenom joey had to start from the rear of the field, once there was contact on pit-road with Kasey Kahne. Joey Worked his way through the field, from the 28th position, and in the end finished in the sixth position.
“We were a sixth-place car and finished sixth,” Logano said. “Overall it was a good day. I was hoping for that top five, but I screwed up in the pits and put myself in a position that I didn’t need to. We’ll see what happens next.”
Still though, Joey debuted very strongly, and show cased that he has alot of potential. The next race for him will be at the Nashville Superspeedway!
