RE: the winter olympics
Got my tv on split screen. On the left side of the tv I have the Gold Medal Hockey game, and on the right is the race from Vegas. Yeah baby.

RE: the winter olympics
Yes they did, this was easily our best showing but we also made our best effort to prepare. We got off to a bit of a slow start but came on strong at the end. Patrick Chan was a little disapointing in the figure skating but we got some good representation from our Hockey teams and the Womens Bob Sled winning Gold and Silver and how about Clara Hughes winning Bronze in Speed skating making her the only athlete in history to win multiple medals in both the Summer and Winter games. As far as the Canada USA Mens Hockey final, our entire country was on pins and needles when that game went into over time. I think we would have went into a great depression had we lost that game lol. I was reading a facebook page from the American side and they were all basically saying good game, you guys did well things like that, if Canada lost our pages would have been talking about how we failed. There was sooo much pressure on our team to win that game, i think the success of the games was measured by that hockey game i really do. No disrespect to the rest of our athletes but I think most Canadians would tell you that they would trade every single medal for the one Hockey gold medal, it's just that important. We had a lot of people that were supposed to be contenders but didn't have the kind of success that they hoped but nobody is talking about them, but if the Hockey team lost, it would be discussed for months. Wer lost in 2006 in Italy and it's only now that we won that that subject is put to rest. A great games in all.
