Just got back from the hospital, 4:30 am. My niece decided to try to commit suicide. Thankfully she wasn't successful. After I get a few hours sleep, I will be back at the hospital.

I just got a call from my sister, and my niece is starting to wake up. It's slow, but at least that is good. She did try to say something to my sister, but my sister could not understand her, and then she passed out again.

Oh my gosh. I am so sorry. I've been through this before with close friends so I know exactly what you're going through. If you need any advise and such please don't hesitate to ask. You and your family will be in my thoughts.

Found out tonight that she is awake. She cannot even remember taking the pills. Of course that is understandabe, she was eating and all of a sudden she couldn't remember what she was doing. They say she might be able to go home tomorrow.

That's understandable as you said. She's definitely trying to reach out for help, I think. Keep us informed.

Just got back from the hospital. She posted on her Facebook page that her goal was to make it into the hospital and she did. She also said that she did not do this to die.

I am not happy that she did this for attention. because there are other ways to get attention.
