August 2010 Fan of the Month
Every month we put a Joey Logano Fan in the spotlight from the forum. If you would like to become a fan of the month as well, all you have to do is be a member of the forum to be eligible for the fan of the month award. The August 2010 fan of the month is shelikeslurpee. She answers some questions for us.

Jordyn, tell us a little bit about yourself.
i live in minnesota. im 17 years old. i enjoy reading, watching tv, shopping, listening to music, and photography.
What is your favorite food and drink?
i love chinese food and i love dr. pepper
How did you get into NASCAR?
my aunt and uncle have been fans since before i can remember, and eventually my dad became a fan. seeing him getting excited about the races made me want to start getting into NASCAR, so i picked a driver and the rest is history!
How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?
well i thought it was cool that there was somebody close to my age that was accomplishing so much. then i saw what a nice guy he seemed like, and began rooting for him!
What’s your favorite race track?
Bristol!
Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go?
unfortunately i have not, but it is on my bucket list!

This girl seems sweet and all, but if you’re lookin for a true Joey Lagono Fan, look no further bc I’m right here!! I have watched NASCAR ever since I can remember, but I got in a slump when I hit my teen yrs, too much partyin I guess. Two yrs ago I got some NASCAR Nationwide Series tickets for the Kentucky Speedway, so I went and it brought back all those memories of watchin NASCAR with my dad, when I was growin up. Let’s just say I absolutley loved it, and I’ve not missed a single race since then. I even went to my local cable office and subscribed for the digital video recorder just so I could be sure I wouldn’t miss a single NASCAR event. I watch every Sprint Cup and Nationwide practice and qualifying and I never miss an episode of NASCAR Now!! Anyhow after watchin Joey Lagono dominate the KY race, I was like who is this kid and where in the hell did he come from. He was young, exciting, and confident everything I could ask for in a driver. So I quickly became a fan!! The rest is history! I’m just sayin I really think I am the one and only true Joey Lagono fan. And I am ssssooooo EXCITED the Sprint Cup Series is coming to KY.
