Joey Logano made his Craftsman Truck series debut this weekend at Talladega. He made his debut in the number 59 Team ASE/Raybestos/HT Toyota Tundra.

Joey had a great qualifying lap, and was able to qualify in the sixth position.

At the end of the day Joey Logano finished in the 26th position. Unfortunately for Joey, lady luck was not on his side. On lap number 19, the side window of his Toyota Tundra Truck flew out and tore the b-post off. Logano had to bring the truck in for repairs. After they got the truck fixed, Logano was already laps down, and he was never able to recover from that, and finished in the 26th position.

Here is what Joey had to say about his weekend at Talladega, “This weekend has been a good learning experience for me, between the Truck and ARCA races, Hopefully I will be able to take this seat-time and carry it over to the Sprint Cup Series. I would like to thank all of the folks at HT Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing for the opportunity to drive this Toyota in the Truck Series.”
