A total of four practice sessions along with a qualifying session was scheduled today for the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series at Watkins Glen International. Joey Logano and Boris Said set a time in two of the four scheduled practice sessions. Results from today’s sessions, along with photos are posted below.
Canadian Tire 200 at The Glen Qualifying Results
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Joey Logano, on his Rolex Series debut, put the No. 31 Marsh Racing Corvette on the top of the time sheets with a 1:14.112 lap time. Moments later, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver was hard into the Turn 5 barriers and his qualifying run over. Logano attempted to pass a slower car on the outside going into the Carousel and lost it. The team will have to go to a backup car, and Logano will start from the rear of the field.
