Logano to run NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race

For those of you that are going to be in Sonoma… Joey will be competing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West event at the track that weekend in addition to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event. Joey is racing to get more seat time on the tricky road course. Joey Logano will drive the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota that weekend with help from the JGR East Series team, as well as members of his #20 NWS guys.

PREUDE UPDATE: As we mentioned a couple of days ago Joey will not be able to participate in this year’s Prelude. Many of you are asking what the conflict was and why it was so unexpected. Unfortunately Joey’s grandfather passed away last week and the funeral is Wednesday. Joey hopes to return to the Prelude next year and hopes everyone will tune in for such a worth cause. Thanks for your understanding.

PRELUDE UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict, Joey will unfortunately not be able to compete in next week’s Prelude to the Dream at Eldora Speedway. We encourage everyone to still tune in and buy the PPV broadcast to help such worth causes. Thanks everyone for understanding and thanks to Tony Stewart and everyone at Eldora for the opportunity.

Joey Logano 2011 Prelude to the Dream

Joey Logano will once again be racing in the Prelude to the Dream at Eldora Speedway on June 8. Joey will drive a car prepared by Chris Wall with Home Depot sponsorship. He’ll be representing the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta team with Clint Bowyer, Ron Capps, Carl Edwards, Ryan Newman and Ken Schrader. Make sure to check the prelude out Live on Pay Per view! The live, commercial-free broadcast will begin on Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 at 8 p.m. EDT (5 p.m. PDT) with an immediate replay. HBO Pay-Per-View’s racing telecast has a suggested retail price of $24.95 and is available to more than 71 million pay-per-view homes.
