Katie, tell us a little bit about yourself.

I’m a die hard Joey fan! I’m 15 years old and I want to be a crew chief! My crew chief idols are Zippy, Chad Knaus, Alan Gustfason, Larry McReynolds, Jeff Hammond and Mike Ford. I’m a sophmore and I’m in my high schools marching band (i play the flute, piccolo and tuba). I love music, animals, motorcycles, and Joey! I have a cat named Felix.

What is your favorite food and drink?

I love Italian and Chinese foods. I also like venison, bear meat, potatoes and cheese. My favorite drink would either be chocolate milk or Coke.

How did you get into NASCAR?

When my mom was dating my now step dad we would go over and see him and he would be watching these cars go around the track at ridiculus speeds. I instantly feel in love with it as any 10 year old would. I rooted for Dale Jr, Denny Hamlin and Jeff Burton but once Joey came into NASCAR the rest was history. Lub

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

I liked seeing a guy close to my age showing that teenagers are capable of doing great things. He put up excellent results and showed the world what he can do. During his interviews he would joke around and humor can go a long was in NASCAR! Plus hes super cute so that plays a minor role! Wink

What’s your favorite race track?

My favorite track would have to be Martinsville. It’s my home track and the site of my first (and so far only) race. The racing is incredible there! I love all of the short tracks. They provide tons of excitment!

Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go?

I met him at Martinsville! He was on Raceday and i saw him walk through the trailors to get to the stage and the Home Depot Fan Zone and when I did I instantly started hyperventalating. He came by and signed autographs before and after he went on and off stage. He was incredibly nice and while other people shoved a hat at him and they didnt bother to look at him, they practically snubbed him and walked away, satisfiedwith getting an autograph of a rising star. But I didnt wantto belike that (and i wasnt planning on being like that. Hes my favorite driver! why wouldnt i talk to him???) i talked with him. I told him about the skit I did in drama where i pantamimed a race with a car I built that looked like his Home Depot car. I was a pit crew member and one of the guys in my class had no idea that he was racing a car (i had to randomly pick someone from my class and they just had to go along with it) and he was so confused. Joey laughed and blushed at the thought of somebody doing that about him must have stunned him. We talked for a little bit and he had to leave to get ready for the race. I for a picture with him and I got two of his autographs. Best day of my life.

Some of my other favorite drivers are Dale Jr, Denny, Jeff Burton, Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, Matt DiBenedetto, Trevor Bayne, Brad Coleman and Ron Hornaday among others.

Whats your name? Matthew Bennett

Matthew, tell us a little bit about yourself I am 30 and live with my mom. I promised my dad before he died that I would take care of her. I love NASCAR, camping, photography, r/c cars, and more.

What is your favorite food and drink? Seafood Alfredo from Olive Garden and Lemonade.

How did you get into NASCAR? Went to my first race with a friend in 1998 at Infineon, and was hooked since then.

What’s your favorite race track? I have two, Infineon and Phoenix, both I have been to.

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano? Saw Joey race in the Nationwide Series a couple years ago, and thought he was going to be a great driver to root for. He hasn’t let me down yet.

Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go? Never have met him, but want to.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Well, my name’s Karen. I’m 17 years old and a senior in high school. I’m from Alabama, which accounts for my definite redneck tendencies, and I’m going to UNC-Charlotte next year. I’m really excited to move to the NASCAR capital of the world!

What is your favorite food and drink?

I’m a total ice cream addict, and since vodka’s probably not a politically correct response here, I’d have to say root beer.

How did you get into NASCAR?

I’ve been a NASCAR fan my whole life really. I think it’s in my genes. I do live in Alabama, after all. I was initially a Mark Martin fan because I thought his name was Martin Martin, and I thought that was the coolest thing ever. Then, I evolved into a Dale Earnhardt fan, then Robby Gordon (what the heck was I thinking, right?), then Jimmie Johnson, and now Joey, the best of them all.

What’s your favorite race track?

I’ve only been to Talladega, Charlotte, and Dover, so Talladega’s my favorite of those. The atmosphere there is just unmatched– who can resist 160,000 overexposed, drunk rednecks? But I would love to go to a race at Martinsville or Bristol in the near future.

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

Back in 2008 I was watching Joey’s Nationwide debut, and I was like what the heck? I’m gonna pull for this guy. Smart choice, huh?

Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go?

I met Joey last April at Talladega. It was a really great experience! He was super nice. He is so freaking adorable in person, I wanted to jump him, but the thought of the resulting restraining order discouraged me. It’s funny, I had bought a shirt (I was wearing a different shirt, not that one), so I got him to sign it, and he totally signed it dangerously close to the boob area, so whenever I wear it, everyone’s just like Oh my God! Joey Logano signed your boobs?!… and I don’t necessarily discourage that notion.

Do you have any other favorite drivers besides Joey?

Not really. I think Jimmie Johnson’s crazy handsome and human perfection, but I don’t really support him in racing anymore. It’s just Joey all the way!!

I’m 15 years old, I live in Rome in Upstate New York, i love karate, soccer and racing. When i graduate I plan on going to the Nascar Tech school to persue a career in racing.

What is your favorite food and drink?

I’d have to say Sunny-D and Tacos

How did you get into NASCAR?

I was into Nascar when i was little with my grandfather and we used to watch races togather and root for Rusty Wallace but when my grandpa died the year Rusty retired i stopped watching it for a couple years till in 2008 a friend of mine got me to watch the Daytona 500 and now i never miss a race, ever.

What’s your favorite race track?

Pocono(cause I’ve been there), Talladega, Bristol, and of course Daytona

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

I was watching my first Nationwide race because I heard Joe Gibbs hired a new driver and I thought he was a really awsome driver and a awsome person (plus he is not bad looking)

Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go?

I haven’t met Joey yet but I hope to this year when I go to the Poconos

Do you have any other favorite drivers besides Joey?

In Sprint I like Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Kasey Kahne also. In Nationwide I like Colin Braun and Justin Allgire and the Sprint guys when they run. In truck I follow Aric Allmirola when he runs along with Kyle Busch.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. I live in Fort Walton beach FL. I am a freshman i play lots of sports such as Football Baseball and even golf. Also enjoy collecting Dicast in 1/24 and 1/64 for Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano.

What is your favorite food and drink? I love Spaghetti and also like pepsi and far as energy drinks Nos is the best!

How did you get into NASCAR? Well some of my family use to watch it when i was younger i would only watch speedway races for crashes till about really 2005 i picked Johnson as my favorite driver in 2007 i watched a full season of racing and i have not miss one race in all the 3 Series’s!

What’s your favorite race track? Much as i love the Super speed ways i gotta say Charlotte Motor Speedway

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano? Well i been following Joey ever since 2007 found out about him from Mark Martin, Following him in points in 2007 till he became a champion from there on i have awalys been a Logano fan!

I seen a free offer in the paper for a hat and car of tide and i became a Ricky Rudd fan until he retired. Did not have a favorite until Joey Logano.

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

Heard about him on nascar radio when Mark Martin was talking about him.

Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go?

Yes, he was at Home depot in Lewisville, Tx in april. It was great. I got 3 cars autograph.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

Got to go JGR shop back in october. In the lobby they have the 20,11,18, and up stairs you can see the shop where they work on the cars. the store is up there too and in there i seen the hood from the car that Joey flip they wanted $850.00 for it and you by lug nuts and spliters. Had a great time.

How did you get into NASCAR?

My best friend got me hooked.

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

I saw Joey win his race in Lakeland, Florida and I was hooked on his driving style and the way he handled himself in victory lane. He spoke very well and that was impressive for me.

I have yet been unable to see Joey but hope to next year

I read my dad’s racing magazine.

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

Well, one night i was in my parents’ room and my sister and mom were reading and I felt left out so I grabbed my Dad’s magazine and it had Joey on the cover. I was always interested in him because my dad always said how he was going to be one of the best. so I read it and I loved everything about it. Joey’s article was great and I became a die-hard fan ever since!

Unfortunatley, no. I wish I did =D

Every month we put a Joey Logano Fan in the spotlight. This month’s fan of the month is Jordan Hightower a member of our Joey Logano Forum. He answers some questions for us.

Jordan, tell us a little bit about yourself.

I was born in May of 1990. I am attending college at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith hoping to graduate with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. My hobbies include sim-racing (http://www.iracing.com) and pretty much anything that has wheels and burns gas.

What is your favorite food and drink?

My favorite food is seafood, pretty much anything that comes out of the water I will enjoy. Chinese food is also very high on my list of favorites, the owner of the main Chinese restaurant in my city lives next door to me, so that’s pretty cool as well. My favorite drinks, good or bad, include Red Bull, Powerade, Gatorade, and good ole’ fashion water, preferably Dasani.

How did you get into NASCAR?

I started following in 2002 but not real heavily until 2003. My dad watched it occasionally and I found it interesting, also my best friend was a fan so we would watch the races together.

Have you met Joey Logano, and how did it go?

Yeah I met him at Texas in April at his souvenir trailer. It went really good, I got two hats signed because I forgot to bring the diecasts I wanted signed. I asked him a question about the Nationwide race he ran the previous day and he answered it without hesitation.

How did you become a fan of Joey Logano?

I first heard about him in 2005 when Mark Martin pretty much introduced him to the world as the real deal back in his Late Model days. I also thought it was really awesome that Joey and I were the same age, almost down to the day. I knew one day he would make it to NASCAR and I wanted to be one of his original fans.

Who are your favorite drivers besides Joey?

I would have to say my top five besides Joey are Michael Waltrip, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, and Kyle Busch. I’m also pretty much a fan of anybody who drives a Toyota.

Out of all the racetracks you’ve been to, which is your favorite track and why?

For tracks that I’ve actually seen a race at I would say Texas because of the speed and usually great racing. My favorite track that I’ve been to but never seen a race is Daytona, that track is amazing!

Now that Joey Logano has gotten his first Sprint Cup win, at what track do you think Joey will get his second Career Sprint cup win at?

Homestead this year. A lot of rookies run really good at Homestead for some reason, not sure why either.
