Joey Logano NASCAR NOW
The last time Joey Logano was on ESPN’s NASCAR NOW Show was with Sergio Pena. Just yesterday (February 24th, 2010), Logano made another appearance on ESPN’s NASCAR NOW show.
The host of the show Mike Massaro opened the show by talking about Logano’s 2009 season, and then the recent accomplishments in the 2010 season. He compared how Joey did in 2009, and how so far all his numbers are significantly up. Mike asked Logano about his recent Top 5 finish in the Sprint Cup series, he also asked Joey to talk about the recent NASCAR Nationwide Series race that he had dominated but did not grab the win due to incident with Greg Biffle. He asked joey more questions, and after the interview was over former NASCAR Driver Rusty Wallace gave his thoughts on the Logano of 2009 vs the Logano of 2010.
Overall this was a fantastic interview, where Joey Logano handled himself very professionally, and looked like a veteran on TV. Check out the video to see for yourself!
Yeah, the maturity level has leaped way up, his body language and cool demeaner indicates that great things are gong toi happene to this 19 year-old, remember that……19 years old!
Mark Martin said it best four years ago;” I’d put him in the seat of my car” after he had seen him race for a few years. Joey was 15-16 years old. He is just a gifted driver, born to do what he is doing – pulling for the top 12 in 2010.
