Interested to read what races everyone goes to each year. So, the main question is, what races do you attend regularly each year? Other than your regular races, what races have you been to before? What races do you plan to attend this year or in the future?
I'll start if off... The regular races that I try to attend each year are the races at Pocono Raceway. It is the closest track to me so I try my best to attend each year.

Outside of Pocono Raceway, I've only been to Richmond, Phoenix, and Homestead. I've only attend those races one time, since they are so far away for me and travel is expensive off course.

I am not 100% sure yet what races I want to go this year. I'll definitely have to make my way over to both Pocono races. I've been thinking about going to Dover (never been there). Other than that I have a goal of attending Homestead when Joey is in contention for the title. No matter what is going on that weekend, I will have to make it to Homestead! Big Grin
As I live in Georgia, I've been to Atlanta Motor Speedway three times. I'll never forget my first race! It was in March of '10 (when there were still 2 Sprint Cup races in Atlanta) and they had some kind of special promo where whichever # won the Daytona 500, you got front stretch tix for that price. So, lo and behold, Jamie McMurray (#1) won and my uncle got those awesome seats for $1!!!

I also went to Charlotte in '10 and Talladega in '11. Unfortunately I didn't make it to an out of state race last year. =/ I will definitely be at AMS this September, as far as that, I'm planning on going back to Talladega in May and maybe I can make it to Daytona in July. Depending on travel costs, work schedule, etc etc! Gotta get to Thunder Valley sometime, of course, but probably not this year. GO JOEY!!! Lub
Well my home track is Martinsville. I go twice a year. I have been to Martinsville, Charlotte, Bristol and Daytona. My husband and I have tried to go to a new track every year since we have been together. This year we plan to go to both Martinsville races plus a new track, our thoughts are the fall Dover race or Richmond. We have not decided our new track this year yet. But we hope to evently go to every race track on the circuit. Jean I have always wanted to go to Pocono for some reason. I just like the uniqueness about that track. Smile Is it fun there?

I went to the summer Daytona race last year. I had a blast. I loved every second of it except the heat. It was 101 degrees on Thursday for practice. Then 103 degrees Friday and 105 on Saturday. We about roasted. The track was 125 degrees during the day but once night time came it felt cool but it was still 90 degrees. That Sunday we went to Disney and it was up to 115 when we got back to our car. It is an awesome trip but last summer was too hot. Leaving the race Saturday night we couldn't see to leave the parking lot at the mall because of the humidity on the windsheild. But if you like the heat, I would highly recommend going. I would also definetly get fan passes. Joey will walk up to the window and sign autographs for you while the crew is working on his car. The whole trip probably cost me and my husband around $1,500 but we did other things besides being at the race track. But any race is awesome. Have fun in Atlanta and where ever else you go. Smile

Pocono is definitely unique. I'll be honest with you, its not the best track on the NASCAR circuit to watch a race from. Since its such a huge track, the view is kind of limited. You can definitely see the entire track but you can't see the backstretch that good since its so far away. Your view is kind of limited and much more like a Daytona view. It really all depends where you sit though..... If you sit near turn 3, you can get a great view of turn 3 and the straightaway. If you sit near turn 1, you can get a great view of turn 1 and the crazy restarts that often happen at Pocono as cars fan out 4-5 wide. Personally, if you go to Pocono I would recommend getting a seat either near Turn 3 or Turn 1.

Every track has its ups and downs I suppose. If you are going to watch the race from the infield, and camp out for the weekend, Pocono might be a good track for that. There is plenty of space in the infield for RV and campers.
My first ever race was Daytona, Feb. 2010. My husband won trip for two all expenses, plane, hotel, Pitt passes, Grandstand seats, all-day entrance to Daytona 500 Club, free food and open bar all day, saw many celebrities in that big dining room, sat in the glass booth just over the start/finish line and Victory Lane. We had such fun in the 500 Club we never went to our regular seats in the stands on either day. This is where I discovered Joey and have rooted for him ever since. We are 3 hours from Loudon, live in Vermont, so we have gone 2 times a year ever since, July and Sept. We are usually in Florida in November so we might get to Homestead also one of these times. I never dreamed, at this age, I would become a die-hard racing fan. I wear my Joey hat around town and get asked lots of questions. hahahahah a crazy old senior citizen.....LOVE JOEY....gws
i dont remember everything lol

Hahaha, although it's not as hot up here as it is in Florida, we are their northern neighbors sooooo I'm kind of used to that kind of weather. Smile Daytona is definitely one of the races on the circuit that I'm dying to go to. It's only an 8 hour drive! Big Grin

And thanks!!! I definitely will enjoy wherever I end up at. Hope you do too!!!

Lol! Why can't you remember everything?? The Aarons 312, that was Talladega, right? I was there! Joey led at least 1 lap, maybe more but I'm not sure cause my memory fails me as well. Did you camp out in one of the free camping areas? I did and man, is that a great place to people watch.
Season ticket holder since 1999 at Loudon. Not the best track but its close to home.

Been to Bristol night race, Phoenix and Vegas.

Bucket list-Richmond, Daytona, Dega, Lowes, Martinsville
I never went to a Sprint Cup race. I live in Iowa and we don't have a cup race..yet. I went to a truck race though. Im hoping I will get to go to one.
Loudon - twice a year, every year! Although my father and I are trying to fly down to Charlotte and Daytona as soon as this year possibly! We've seen over 10 races up in New Hampshire already and none anywhere else haha.
I've been to Michigan 4 times and Martinsville once.
I have yet been to a race. I always wanted to go to one. I live close to Kentucky Speedway, and Bristol Motor speedway. Maybe someday i get to go to a track.
I go to Poccono in August every year since 2008 Smile
