ipod troubles

ipod troubles
ok..for christmas i got a new ipod touch, now i bought alot of songs and most of them will not download onto my ipod. a message comes up that says
"Some songs in the itunes library could not be copied to the ipod because they could not be found." and they give me a whole list of songs that cant be found or downloaded.

if anyone knows or has an idea of what i can do let me know!! thankssTongueBig Grin

Yeah, go to the My Music folder. Then check to see if those files actually exist. iTunes might play them, but they might not be saved where they are supposed to be. It can't located the original file saved on your computer.

im trying it out...cant find the my music folder. my songs are there but there are exclamation points next to them.when i double clicked on the exclamation point it said that the file could not be found.i hit locate then and one of the cds that are missing came up.i still cant get them onto my ipod.HuhHuh

Alright. This is your problem. Your song files were not saved properly in their proper location. You need to find those music files and put them in your My Music folder. Then, go to iTunes and input those files. That should work.

thnx Smile ok well, i found most of the files my ipod is just being stupid, so weregonna take it to the apple store so they can fix it. ur plan was working until my ipod just rejected it all together lol
