Toyota/SaveMart 350 Race Talk
From now on I will try to make the race threads one day after the previous race, thanks for Canadian Joey Fan for suggesting that to me.

Weekend Schedule
Quote:SPEED 06|19|09 3 p.m. Toyota/SaveMart 350 practice
SPEED 06|19|09 6:30 p.m. Toyota/SaveMart 350 qualifying
SPEED 06|20|09 12:30 p.m. Toyota/SaveMart 350 practice
SPEED 06|20|09 1:30 p.m. Toyota/SaveMart 350 final practice
TNT 06|21|09 4:30 p.m. Toyota/SaveMart 350 Race

I know not many people like the road course races, but they are one my favorites Big Grin

I personally don't mind them, i do agree that they can be very boring but at the same time i feel that they have a place if nothing else for variety. It will be interesting to see how Joey does his first time out and the double file restart rule should make these type of races more fun to watch.

There's going to be a lot of cars going off the track

I agree, personally I don't think Double File Restarts is a good idea on the road courses. But we shall what happens...

I think it will make it more exciting just like at other tracks. They'll go off the track more but when it gets right down to it they'll do that at the end of the races trying to pass in the corners just this time the off road stuff will start earlier.

RE: Toyota/SaveMart 350 Race Talk
I am actually watching NASCAR now on ESPN2 right now.
And they are talking about this race.
And I actually saw Joey spin out while racing.
I'm a very new fan to NASCAR. I started liking it since the Daytona 500.
Which, is not a long time at all.
So, I've never seen this type of race yet! Butttt. This looks so fun and awesome! I can't wait!

Joey Logano IS running the Camping world West race on Saturday. He confirmed it in his race quotes on his site.

This weekend sucks for me. I always go to Infineon, but this year I am out of a job so I can't go.

Oh well, I hope Joey does great.

That was an impressive qualifying run from Logano, very impressive considering this is his first ever in the sprint cup car at Infineon.

I am very impressed by Joey today, hes running 3rd, and remember this is his first time at a cup car at Infineon, and a sprint cup road course race for that matter! As long as the cautions fall our way, he should get a top 5 finish =D

If it wasn't for the Double File Restarts, I think Joey would have been fine, hehe

Nice recovery today going from 38th to 19th in the final 25 laps on a road course is no easy task plus he gained a spot in the standings.
