I love road racing as well. Most don't. Joey was great here last year, need to qualify up front. Hopefully Max has him up on the wheel! Go Joey

Max Papis is an Italian racer who has raced in other areas and has worked with Joey before, I really don't know much else, I am sure 20forLogano or Jean will be able to enlighten you more than this.....gws

wow are you new to nascar???

he drove the #13 geico cup car (currently dirven by casey mears) for a few years
and hes driving the RCR #33 in NW this weekend

New or old to NASCAR,,,,questions are always welcome and deserve a good answer,,,,,,,as a Senior Citizen I had lots of questions when I got the BUG for Racing and Joey,,,everyone here helped me many times to understand different aspects of the game. In 3 years,,,I still have questions and know that someone will help me if they can....this is greatly appreciated. gws

Hey Joeyloganofan619, always ask questions, they are welcomed. Max Papis is one of the best road racers in the world. He has dabbled into NASCAR in both Sprint Cup as well as trucks. I wont go into all of his accomplishments but 2 years ago Joe Gibbs asked him to help Joey road race because Joey had no experience. So Max took Joey out and showed him the ins and outs of road racing. There are so many challenges yet Max has helped out a great deal. He even coaches him on the radio during the event. Joey and him have become very close and Joey won the pole here last year really because of Max showing him break points, passing areas, etc. hope he gets Joey another solid starting spot and a win here is week. Hope that helps a little
