Talladega Talk
Joey is going to be doing double duty this weekend at Talladega, driving in both Sprint Cup and the nationwide series. And as usual so will his team mate Kyle Busch.

I have a good feeling that Joey is going to run very strong here at Talladega! I think it's very likely that Joey will score his first top 10 of the season at this track.

What do you guys think?

RE: Talladega Talk
Given the way Joey ran at Daytona this year, it wouldn't suprise me at all if he does well.

Hope he dodges the BIG ONE!

RE: Talladega Talk
i think he'll do pretty good as long as he does avoid the big one like raganbaby_6 said. hes just gotta be patient and not get carried away too quickly.

RE: Talladega Talk
The nationwide practice's are tomorrow, but it's not going to be aired on TV again. That's the second time this year that the nationwide practice is not aired on TV. I guess nobody likes to show the nationwide series on a Thursday, lol.

Here's the schedule -> http://www.nascar.com/races/tune_in/

So our first event on TV will be on Friday beginning at 11:30 am where they will qualify the nationwide cars.

RE: Talladega Talk
Just so you guys know... Joey was 2nd fastest in the first practice session for the nationwide. And he was 20th in the second one. Full results are can be found at http://jayski.com/nationwide/2009/next/08talladega.htm

Offcourse... I would not worry about the lap times during the practice sessions for the plate tracks, because the times are pretty much meaningless since they are heavily influenced by the draft.

Joey Logano is looking very strong early on!!! OMG hes up to second place right behind David Ragan! wooooohooo Smile

I bet hes going to lead a lap or two before this is over... and if hes lucky enough he might steal a win ;-)
