RE: Prelude to the dream!
An update from Joey Logano’s Official facebook page.

PRELUDE UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict, Joey will unfortunately not be able to compete in next week’s Prelude to the Dream at Eldora Speedway. We encourage everyone to still tune in and buy the PPV broadcast to help such worth causes. Thanks everyone for understanding and thanks to Tony Stewart and everyone at Eldora for the opportunity.

RE: Prelude to the dream!
Joey's grandfather passed away is the reason he cannot make it. The funeral is Wednesday. This is so sad. My prayers are with the Logano family in their time of need. Sad

RE: Prelude to the dream!
being from ct like joey and his family, i have found the newspaper from middletown along with his grandfathers obituary. my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family...

Frederick Michael Biduk, 87, formerly of Cromwell, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the Carolina Medical Center in Concord, N.C., surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Geraldine (Mitchell) Biduk. They were married for 42 years. Has been a widower for 20 years.
Born in Hartford, Nov. 24, 1924, he was the son of the late Alexander and Sophie (Hudjuck) Biduk. He was a lifetime area resident before moving to North Carolina. He was the proprietor of Hartford Bodies, Inc. - Auto Body Shop in East Hartford for over 20 years until his retirement.
Mr. Biduk is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Biduk) Logano and her husband Thomas J. of Concord, N.C.; and his son, Michael Biduk of Concord, N.C. He was a proud grandfather of five grandchildren, Danielle Logano of Charlotte, N.C., Joey Logano of Huntersville, N.C. ; Kathreen Biduk, Meaghan Biduk of North Haven; and Stephen Biduk of Florida. He leaves twin sisters, Frances Biduk and Elsie (Biduk) Serafin, both of Newington along with brother-in-law Marty Serafin, and many nieces and nephews that he loved.
Frederick always lived his life to the fullest and always welcomed everyone with a smile.
