Joey should be very good here. Every race at Lowes so far as been a top 10. (5th,8th and 9th) In the Two races on All Star Weekend and the 600.

Yeah, I think this could be a very good weekend for the 20 team. Nationwide race is loaded with Cuppers as well.

The cool thing is Joey's first few NW wins came at Stand Alone tracks where there might not have been as much competiton but now his last three have been at the companion events (Chicago,Kansas,Cali) so he's right up there with the top NW drivers and soon to be there with the top cup drivers in that series.

It looks like another top 10 start. Joey's starting to qualify up front every week, the finishes will soon follow. I expect see a couple top 5's in a couple of the remaining races. Improvement is starting to show through consistent qualifying runs every week now.

Go Gators!!!

If you look at last years Nationwide standings he was good but not like he is now so he did show improvement even in that series. He'll show the same in cup very soon.
Joey Logano is successful in the Nationwide series because he's used to the cars and it's only a matter of time before he gets used to the cup cars too

Don't get me started on BOA. Their big check first policy sucks. It's a rip off and just a way to get extra overdraft fee's that shouldn't happen. Thank God for credit union's. I wouldn't use BOA if it was the only bank left. They are horrible.

Go Gators!!!

Should be a nice night. I think we see a top 10. He had a ninth here earlier with the rain shorting the race. I think he had an easy top 5 that day and I think we are going to see something like that tonight.

Haha. They do have a bad reputation. Their tellers are very annoying. My bank does not offer any good interest rates. I only have one checking out at it so, I can have pretty checks with no fees. Guess which checks. NASCAR ones of course! I do have to say, I love Credit Unions the best too :] That's my pick.

So, I don't know everything about NASCAR. I'm a new fan. So, here's a question for all of you long-time fans of the sport.
What's with leaders pitting first then, the non-race leaders. I don't understand that. Montoya just got penalized for pitting with the leaders. How do you figure out who the "leaders" are and who aren't. Where do the "leaders" end.

The leaders are all the cars on the lead lap. The pit together. All the lap down cars pit after.
Good run for Joey Today! i'd say we got Charlotte figure out. All top 10's so far!
I don't remember how it works if there's just one or two cars a lap down whether they pit with the leaders or not.

When the pits are opened for the first time, only the lead lap cars are allowed to pit, the second time around anyone can pit.

Well, that was a great run and something I thought we would see. We need a few more of these in the next 5 races and gain some momentum for next year.

First post for me. Watching Joey mature is a joy; make no mistake about it, Logano is the real deal. Coming from 38th after bad pit stop, to race Jeff Gordon for 4th place, and then back off so as not to cause anything foolish, took his top 5, that's maturity! 19 years old, hard to believe, at times last night I thought I was watching Smoke back in the #20 the way Joey sliced and diced to the front. Amazing talent.
