Autism 400 Race Talk
The race is about to start, and Joey is starting 21st!

This is also FOX's last race coverage for 2009.

Yeah but Joey is headed to the back, I was at the Coke 600 and he did really well there.

RE: Autism 400 Race Talk
Looks like it is going to be a tough race with the track being green because of the rains this weekend, and the tire wear.

RE: Autism 400 Race Talk
I almost turned it off when I saw him moving backwards and getting lapped early, but that caution that either REALLY helped or REALLY hurt you helped us jump from like 30th to 15th! That was great!

Just for fun, took the 12th place in points, and subtracted ours. Then divided it by the 13 races, we only have to gain like 24 points per race... don't think it's that bad!

RE: Autism 400 Race Talk
I just did the math.. as of right now... according to the current Standings... Mark Martin who is in 12th place in the standings has an average finish of 17.3. Joey Logano right now has an average finish of 22.53.

There are 13 races left... so... after some complex max calculations Joey would have to have an average finish of 12 from here until Richmond to beat Mark Martin for 12th place. It's not impossible to make the chase. As long as he has an average finish of 12th from Pocono until Richmond.

The average finish can change though.. it depends if the competition in front of him starts finishing better... or... worse. The calculation I got.... was from the current average finish of the current 12th place guy which is mark martin.

RE: Autism 400 Race Talk
I think sometimes you have to be happy with what the day gives you. If your running top 5 all day and challenging for the lead and end up 15th i'd say perhaps that's a little disapointing but if you start off bad and work on the car and bring it up from what was a 25th to 30th place car and bring it up to a 15th place car then that should be considered a good day.

RE: Autism 400 Race Talk
My wife thought i was teasing her because Joey is ahead of Elliott in the pic. I told her that i didn't think a pic of Elliott being ahead of Joey exists unless there is one with Joey about to lap Elliott or something lol. Seriously though i do like Elliott Sadler mostly because my wife does so i want to see him do well because it would make her happy. He almost one the 500.
