Anyone Know
How the test went in Cali the last 2 days? Always nice to get some track time and Joey struggled some at the bigger tracks last year

A few notes on this....
Apparently security at Auto Club Speedway was very tight Tuesday and Wednesday as Goodyear conducted two days of tire testing at the Fontana track. Unlike other tire tests in recent year, the track was off-limits to all (especially the media) from 9 a.m. until the 4:30 p.m. conclusion. At other tests, drivers often have time for noon interviews, but not this week. |

That kinda leads me to believe that they were doing something they didn't want anybody to know about. I mean if they didn't allow the media in there or anybody else, they had to be doing something. This is a wild guess but they might have been running Hoosier tires to try and make the Goodyear tires better.
